Direct language: “The geopolitical situation requires the diplomatic service to find new adapted to realities and arguments and approaches. Therefore, some personnel decisions on the heads of some foreign institutions have been made by the President, because it is very simple: the result.”

Details: Sibiga explained that the leaders of Ukrainian diplomas await results in the form of military packages for Ukraine, the mobilization of humanitarian and economic assistance and the support of Ukrainians abroad.

“All this, in fact, measures the effectiveness of a foreign institution. Therefore, before the meeting of ambassadors, which the President of Ukraine approved, there will be appropriate personnel decisions that will be aimed at strengthening the diplomatic service of Ukraine,” he added.

Sibiga also said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is preparing for structural reform, which aims to adapt it to modern security challenges.

According to him, one of the key steps will be the elimination of the disarmament department.

“This is abnormal when the Department of Disarmament was in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since the independence of our country. There will be no more such department in the ministry,” Sibiga said.

Instead, the Foreign Ministry will emerge new units that will work to strengthen the country’s defense potential.

“There will be departments that will work to strengthen our defense capabilities,” the minister emphasized.

Sibiga expressed his hope that the updated Ministry’s structure would be approved as soon as possible. It, he said, will meet the scale of modern challenges, take into account the best international diplomatic practices and will increase the effectiveness of Ukraine’s foreign policy work.

It is worth noting that earlier the Foreign Ministry considered the possibility of creating a NATO Department.

That preceded: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a number of decisions on June 21 after the statement of the Russian ruler Vladimir Putin about encroachment on the entire territory of Ukraine, in particular, on changes in personnel in the diplomatic corps and management of institutions.
