Details: It is a multi -level strategy, approved by “directly” by the Kremlin. The documents state that the purpose is to undermine the chances of the Presidential President of the country Sandu “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) in the Elections on September 28 and, as a result, remove it from power.

One of the documents that the agency got acquainted, states that one of the main aspects of the Kremlin’s plan is to give the impression of competition, but in fact it is aimed at weakening Sandu’s support.
Documents indicate that the Kremlin tactics include:
- recruiting Moldovans abroad, including in Russia, for vote at polling stations in the EU and other countries;
- involvement of people to organize destructive protests;
- Large -scale misinformation campaign on social networks.
Another main part of the administration of the Kremlin head of Vladimir Putin involves the use of compromising materials for pressure on civil servants in order to disrupt the election process.
The potential plans of the Russian Federation are the recruitment of young men from sports clubs and criminal groups “for the organization of violent provocations during the vote and protests after it.”
This will probably include demonstrations demanding a resignation of Sandu if its party loses the elections, or for the purpose of discrediting the results if it wins.
The focus is also on what will happen after the election. According to European officials, the support that the opposition parties of Moldova receive from Moscow are different and varies from consultations to financing.
Two European officials who are aware of this issue have stated in a comment to the agency that “almost certainly” Russia intends to implement most of these plans.
We will remind, the parliamentary elections in Moldova will take place on September 28 and will be decisive for the further course of the country.
Maya Sandu President said Moscow is preparing unprecedented intervention by bribery of voters, misinformation, cyberattacks, arrangement of paid protests and more.
Last public opinion polls show that PAS would take first place, but would not be able to form a majority in the legislative body.
