Ruslan “Ostap” Hanushchak, a military photographer, operator and serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, died at the front.

Details: Hanushchak started his activity as a military cameraman in 2014, as a soldier of the “Azov” battalion. He became one of the documentarians of the war in Donbas, recording the crimes of the Russian military in Shyrokyn, Granitny, Berdyansk, Lebedynsk, and Marinets.

His works, including the film about Georgian volunteers “Brother for Brother”, were presented in the USA, Britain and other countries of the world.

In 2016, Hanushchak shot a documentary about the war in Donbas “Two days in Ilovaisk” – about what started the Ilovaisk cauldron.

In 2022, he became a soldier of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, continuing to publish photos and videos about the war.
