According to Spinu, Ukraine informed Romania about the passage of a Russian missile through the airspace of Moldova at around 7:30 in the morning, after which it was “for about two minutes” in the area of the city of Darabany.
“According to the monitoring data of the Romanian air surveillance systems and the data provided by the means of NATO countries, which complement the monitoring, the crossing of the Romanian airspace in the area of responsibility of Romania was not confirmed,” the spokesman continued.

He assured that the competent structures of the Ministry of Defense of Romania “will continue the investigation of this situation in order to find out all the circumstances.”
It will be recalled that at 7:24 a.m. on December 25, the Ukrainian Air Force reported a cruise missile that flew “in the direction of Chernivtsi from the territory of Moldova”.
Monitoring agencies claim that the Russian rocket traveled 140 kilometers through the territory of Moldova and Romania, flying from the area of the city of Yampil in Vinnytsia (near the Moldovan border) and landing in the area of the city of Daraban (a Romanian city near the border with Moldova).
The Moldovan side has not yet commented on these reports.
