The specific value of the contract is not disclosed, but it was noted that it is about tens of millions of euros.

The company noted that it has already handed over hundreds of Marder BMPs to the defense forces of Ukraine.

The 1A3 model is equipped with an additional laser rangefinder, which provides more accurate targeting and engagement of targets. The first 20 machines of this model were transferred as German aid to Ukraine in March 2023, after which such deliveries followed.

It will be recalled that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced during his visit to Kyiv that the sixth IRIS-T system, Patriot launchers and Gepard anti-aircraft tanks will be among the weapons that Germany will transfer in December.

At the beginning of November, the Secretary General of NATO revealed that Rheinmetall will soon complete the second military plant in Ukraine.
