Details: The attack was struck by the Romanian Constitutional Court’s website, the Chief Government Portal, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Ministry and presidential candidates’ sites.

According to the National Cyber Security Directorate, the sites of the candidates that have been attacked were the candidate from the ruling coalition Krin Antonescu, and the mayor of Bucharest Nikushra Dana, who is running as an independent candidate.
It is noted that hackers have taken responsibility for the cyberattack on their Telegram, indicating among the targets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Justice.
The National Cyber Security Directorate of Romania has stated that the websites listed by the Hacker Group have already worked at 14 o’clock local time.
Prehistory:
- On May 4, the first round of the presidential election was held in Romania, which won the pro -Russian leader of the far -right Giorji Simion, who gained 40.94%and the liberal mayor of Bucharest Nikushor Dan – 20.99%.
- Dan expressed optimism in his future victory, although he acknowledged that the second round of elections would be difficult.
- Antonescu acknowledged his defeat in the election, but avoided the answer which candidates to support in the second round.
