The UP sent a request to the National Anti -Corruption Bureau in order to clarify whether detectives have started a pre -trial investigation into a possible illegal enrichment of the Deputy Prosecutor General.
NABU refused to answer, referring to the secret of the pre -trial investigation.
At the same time, it was added: the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (CCP) stipulates that the information of the pre -trial investigation can only be disclosed with the written permission of the investigator or prosecutor.
Prehistory:
- On June 4, 2025, Hromadske journalists made an investigation into the Family Family of Deputy Prosecutor General Igor Mushtez. The material states that for more than two decades of service in the prosecutor’s office, the museum has not owned either real estate or a car. However, he lives in a rented apartment in an elite LCD in the center of Kiev.
- At the same time, the parents of the Deputy Prosecutor General during the full -scale war became the owners of new real estate. In particular, his mother Lyubov Mustetsa at the end of 2022 issued an apartment of 202 m² in an elite new building “Parus” in Chernivtsi, his father Vasyl Mustez in May 2023 purchased a Mercedes-Benz Gle 400d 2022.
- The investigation also states that in September 2022, 73-year-old pensioner David Weinstein gave an apartment at the LCD “French Quarter-2” Sister Natalia Antonyuk, Deputy Prosecutor General. The cost of the gift in the gift contract was estimated at 8 million hryvnias.
