A group of people’s deputies filed for registration of a bill, which provides for the abolition of all norms on NABU and SAP, which were under Law No. 12414.

Details: He said that it was a bill that the People’s Deputy Inna Sovsun wrote about the day before, but added that a number of deputies worked on him.

According to Zheleznyak, the registration of the document usually takes several hours, so by the end of the day it should be on the website of the council.

If the bill is considered by the usual procedure, it can get into the session hall no earlier than 7 days. However, Zheleznyak recalled that laws may be considered before the Ad HOK procedure (Article 50 of the BP Regulations – a decision on one -time deviation (ad hoc) from the procedures stipulated by the BP Regulations)

• The heads of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office called on President Vladimir Zelensky not to sign the Bill No. 12414, which in fact destroys NABU and SAP independence. However, on the evening of July 22, the President signed the document.
• In many cities of Ukraine, protests have taken place after this legislative initiative was adopted.
• Subsequently, Zelensky promised to submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill, which will provide “force of the system of law enforcement” and preserve “all rules for the independence of anti -corruption institutions”.
