The Hungarian government announced this decision on the eve of Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyag, who came to the country on a visit.
Netanyaga was invited to Hungary Victor Orban in November 2024, after the ICS issued an international warrant for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister on charges of martial crimes in the Gaza Sector.
The Hungarian government even then stated that he would ignore the decision of the Hague body, which he called absurd and shameful. The government indicated that it not only rejects this decision in principle, but also wants to prove it as soon as possible in practice.
