The Norwegian prime minister said that Ukraine needs more support to weaken Russian naval forces in the Black Sea in the future.

“This is necessary to protect the Ukrainian population and infrastructure from attacks by the Russian Black Sea Fleet. It is also important to protect the export of grain and other goods by sea, which provides a significant income for Ukraine,” added Styore.

At the end of November, parties in the Norwegian parliament supported the decision to increase support to Ukraine to NOK 35 billion in 2025.

It recently became known that in 2025, Norway will join the training of Ukrainian pilots and technicians of F-16 fighters, which will take place on the territory of Portugal.
