It is reported that technical experts are responsible for the fighters before departure and after returning to the base.
“The responsibility for the final inspections lies with brigade leaders. After starting and completing all the inspections, he or she removes safety pins from the chassis and fuel tanks. After that, the F-16 can leave the shelter and take off. Even after returning, crew executives accept the plane in the pilot,” – told the Netherlands Ministry of Defense Ministry.
It is noted that the Netherlands initiated the training of land staff F-16.
On January 31, the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov arrived in the Netherlands to meet with his colleague Ruben Bracelmans. During his visit to the country, the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry will visit the F-16 fighter training center.
Recall that in 2023 a coalition of fighter jets led by the United States, Denmark and the Netherlands last year began to transmit F-16 fighters to Ukraine.
Currently, Kiev has received two parties of fighters from Denmark, as well as part of the promised F-16 from the Netherlands.
