Negotiations in Istanbul ended: Ukraine has handed over a list of deported children

Negotiations between Ukrainian and Russian delegations have been completed in Turkish Istanbul. The negotiations lasted a little more than an hour. The Ukrainian side has submitted a list of deported children to which Russia should return.

Details: In general, negotiations between representatives of Ukraine and Russia lasted just more than an hour. They were preceded by the introductory word of Turkey Minister Hakan Fidan, who was present in the negotiation hall.

The completion of the negotiations was indirectly confirmed by the Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Andriy Ermak, who wrote on Telegram that the Ukrainian side “officially handed over the Russian side to the Russian side of Ukrainian children to return.”

“It is about hundreds of children who have been illegally deported, forcibly moved or kept in temporarily occupied territories,” Yermak wrote.
