The commission also got acquainted with the materials of closed criminal proceedings and documents with the stamp “For official use”.
According to the conclusions, withNABU agal has reached its overall expected results to some extent, and has control mechanisms to reduce some of the main risks.
The commission believes that NABU Activities:
– In measurement “Detection and investigation of high -ranking corruption” was quite effective;
– in the measurement “virtue, accountability and transparency” – moderately effective;
– in the measurement “Management, Strategy and Management of Resources” – moderately effective;
– in the measurement “interagency interaction” – moderately effective;
– In the measurement of “International Cooperation” is quite effective.
In the report, the Commission provides 26 recommendations for NABU on planning its activities, collecting and using data, tracking progress, and other aspects of its work.
In addition, the commission has found cases where NABU’s effectiveness was influenced by external factors outside the NABU control and proposed to bring these issues to the Verkhovna Rada or other relevant institutions.
During the evaluation, individual members of the commission found technical opportunities for improvement within their field of knowledge and experience. The relevant comments were brought to the NABU management.
