“The demographic problem in Ukraine is getting bigger. Therefore, we want to make a mortgage for young families with children. We want to create for families who are motivated to give birth to children, special conditions for buying an apartment,” Metzger stressed.
According to him, it will be a leasing product for young families with less first contribution and lower rates. These rates should subsequently approve the Cabinet of Ministers. With every child The rate will be reduced.
For example, a base rate for a young family will be a conditional 9%. If there is one child in the family, the rate is reduced to 6%, if two children are up to 3%, and if three or more children are 0%.
At the same time, the reverse process is considered. If one child is 18 years old, the rate is turned back.
Ukrfinzhitlo also specified that “young families with children” should issue a mortgage as a separate category of citizens. That is, it is not possible to serve the program at the same time as a military or physician, and as a family with children – you need to choose.
Also, the program will not extend to those Ukrainians who have previously issued a mortgage. That is, with the advent of children, their ponds will not be reduced.
According to Mesger, the expanded “Eosel” should work at the end of 2025-at the beginning of 2026.
