The godfather of the Russian Federation Viktor Medvedchuk or related persons probably continue to pay for the maintenance of the Royal Romance yacht, which is estimated at 130 million euros and which is under arrest and in ARMA.

Details: According to the investigation, the Royal Romance yacht stood in the port for more than three years and it had to be maintained all this time. Maintenance of a vessel of this class can cost millions of euros a year.

Ukrainian Truth addressed the ARMA with a question who was engaged in maintenance all this time, but we did not receive a specific answer, and in general, we can conclude that Ukraine and Croatia are not paid for the maintenance of the yacht.

In response to the request of the Ukrainian Embassy in Croatia, which was sent by the UP ARMA, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia reported:

“The Republic of Croatia does not pay the corresponding port fees and does not bear expenses, since the corresponding sanctions regime provides for a deviation that the owner of the frozen property is allowed to pay fees for service and other related fees.”

And this means that Viktor Medvedchuk or related persons can still pay for the maintenance of the Royal Romance yacht.
