Details: The investigation states that Germany previously identified seven people who made the blasting of the Nord Streams in 2022, all – citizens of Ukraine.

One of them is Sergei Kuznetsov, detained in Italy last week. The German investigation considers it the coordinator of the “sabotage group”. In addition, four divers are suspected, the expert-explosive technician and skiper, who controlled the Andromeda ship, with which it was possible to reach the Nord Streams.
The seventh suspect – Ukrainian serviceman Vsevolod K., who was trained in Germany – according to some reports, died at the front in Ukraine, the investigation is stated.
The details of the suspected media reveal a little. For example, among suspected divers allegedly there is a Ukrainian from a private diving school in Kiev, and a sailor, like a native of Odessa, issued fingerprints, which he handed over during one of the previous trips to the Netherlands and found on Androme.
The investigation also states that the German investigation revealed some signs of communication of suspected explosions on “northern streams” with “Ukrainian special services or military”. This is, among other things, the presence of false Ukrainian passports in the suspects (Kuznetsov seems to be two).
But the investigation did not prove whether the explosions were sanctioned by the Ukrainian authorities, it is said in the material.
It should be reminded that at the end of September 2022, after the explosions near the Danish island of Borngolm, four origins on two pipelines were discovered in the Baltic Sea.
Politicians and media initially suggested that the explosions were Russian malefactors. In the end, investigators of the Federal Police and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Germany found a connection with Ukraine.
In 2024, Federal Prosecutor Jens Rommel received a warrant for the previous arrest of one of the suspected divers – a citizen of Ukraine. However, the suspect left his home in Poland before he was arrested.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine was not involved in the explosions, and suggested analyzing what players could need such an information hip.
