It is documented in the geoinformation system of the “place of mass burial of victims of the Holodomor-Genocide”, which was created in 2019.
At least 162 people were killed in Ivkivtsi from the Holodomor, including a large number of children. According to the museum, these are only the names that were able to install.
“Most of the dead found their last rest here in the old cemetery. The villagers still visit the graves of relatives“, – the museum said.
In particular, Denis Skull, the grandfather of a local resident Mykola Danilishin, is buried here in the mass grave. The man says that Together with the villagers, they tried to maintain order in the cemetery. But over time, most of the graves were orphaned. It was difficult to care for them.

Currently, the National Museum of Holodomor-Genocide has turned to the head of the Land TG and the head of the Pryluky RDA with a notification of the value and importance of maintaining this place of burial of the Holodomor period, as well as with a request to restore the improvement of the memorial territory as much as possible and mark it.
