Details: At the same time, Zelensky noted that official Kyiv did not receive any proposals from partners about the format of membership in the Alliance.
What preceded: This week, Zelensky for the first time expressed his readiness to agree to freeze the war with Russia, if NATO invites Ukraine into the Alliance and provides security guarantees for the territory controlled by Kyiv.
The Ukrainian authorities previously admitted that the Alliance would not send Kyiv an invitation to join before the end of the war, and said that such entry would take place within internationally recognized borders.
