Details: In Georgia, the temporary investigative commission of Parliament, which investigated the “crimes” of Saakashvili, completed the work. The chairman of the commission Taulukiani, summarizing the results of the “investigation”, stated that the conclusions of the Investigative Commission would be the basis for “the beginning of relevant legal procedures in the Constitutional Court, the purpose of which is to prohibit the political activity of the” national movement “and its members.

“We worked very intensively. As you know, the commissions needed the maximum period – six months, which was provided by law, and we used it with the consent of Parliament,” Tsulukiani said.
She said that the result of the commission’s work is a document of about 500 pages, which confirms that “the force that has been in our country 9 years old and today is in opposition today has no resource to change.”
“That is why the parliamentary majority and the” Georgian dream “have decided that this conclusion will be the basis to start relevant legal procedures in the Constitutional Court, the purpose of which is to prohibit the political activity of the” national movement “and its members. Such a goal, because we believe that without this country has no prospects.”
The promise to hold representatives of the former authorities liable became central to the Georgian Dream election campaign last year. The party also promised to ban the “national” and other potentially related forces.
The opposition in response claimed that the Georgian Dream and Bidzin Ivanishvili openly speak of repression and intend to destroy dissent in the country.
In March, the pro -Russian authorities of Georgia re -promised to recognize the “single national movement” party unconstitutional.
