“On the night of November 12, units of the Special Operations Forces and the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, inflicted fire damage on the fuel and lubricant warehouse “Oskolneftesnab”, located near the city of Stary Oskol, Belgorod Region of the Russian Federation,” – it is stated in messages

Earlier today, the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced an attack by a Ukrainian drone on an oil depot near the city of Stary Oskol in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. According to him, one of the tanks caught fire as a result of the attack, and there were no casualties.
In June, Ukrainian drones already attacked an oil depot in the Starooskol city district. Then Governor Gladkov also reported on the fire and the absence of victims. In March, it was reported about a drone attack on the Belgorodnaftoprodukt oil depot.
According to the BBC’s calculations, published in August, since the beginning of the year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have attacked refineries and oil infrastructure in Russia at least 64 times.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, previously called the attacks on the oil refinery a response to the strikes by Russian troops on Ukraine’s energy sector.
