The leaders of Russia and France, among other things, agreed that the tension between Iran and Israel should be resolved “exclusively by political and diplomatic means,” the Kremlin said.
As for Russian aggression against Ukraine, Putin, according to the Kremlin, said nothing new: he accused the state of the West and declared claims for occupied Ukrainian territories.
“(Putin. – Ed.) Confirmed the fundamental approaches to possible arrangements that should be complex and long -term, anticipate the elimination of the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis and rely on new territorial realities,” the Kremlin says.
Finally, there was noted that Putin’s conversation with Macron “had a meaningful character”.
Both of the leaders were last spoken on September 11, 2022.
Last year, French President had already admitted that he could have a telephone conversation with Putin.
