The complaint is another step in the conflict between European countries and Russia because of obstruction of the satellite signal.
Several European countries have reported obstacles to the work of two major European satellite providers in the last year – Eutelsat and SES. In Europe, they provide radio and television services as well as for aviation navigation.
The most noticeable failure occurred in the spring of 2024. At that time, Russian military propaganda suddenly appeared twice on Babytv in the Netherlands and other European countries.
The investigation showed that the source of obstacles was occupied by Russia of Crimea and the Kaliningrad region.
In previous letters to the UN, Russia denied its involvement in satellite disruptions.
Last year, it became known that, according to the United States, Moscow develops nuclear weapons for the deployment of the Earth orbit, which could be a threat to US satellites.
