Details:According to the “Unified Report on Criminal Offenses” under Article 407 of the Criminal Code (unauthorized abandonment of a military unit or place of service), 6,988 proceedings were registered in 2022 (347 of them in January-February), in 2023-17 658, in 2024-67 840 proceedings.
Advertising:
In seven months of 2025, 110 511 proceedings under this article have already been registered. Thus, from the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia, the number of cases open to the HCP is 202 997. In 15 564 of them, persons were informed of suspicion.
With regard to Article 408 of the Criminal Code (desertion), from 2022 to July 2025 it was registered total 50 058 Criminal proceedings under this article were reported in 1248 proceedings.

Prehistory:
- In the period from November 29, 2024 to March 1, 2025, according to the DBR, nearly 21 thousand 100 servicemen returned to the service.
- During the 8 months of the simplified mechanism of return to the service of those who first unauthorized left part of (HSF), more than 29,000 Ukrainian servicemen returned to the Armed Forces.
