The key elements of the package are air defense, artillery and financial support for the Air Force of Ukraine.
“The safety situation is changing rapidly. It is so important that Denmark continues its large-scale support for Ukraine … The 25th assistance package is emphasizing our support for Ukraine both in the short and long run,” said Denmark Minister Troyels Lund Poulsen.
In his turn, Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen noted that the new package will strengthen Ukraine’s fighting power.
“Ukraine’s security is crucial for the future of all Europe. I hope that our help will inspire other allies to provide even more support,” he said.
In particular, in 2025-27, 1.4 billion Danish crowns will be allocated for the transfer of artillery and ammunition. In addition, the funds will be allocated for air defense, drones coalition and IT coalition.
Funds will also be allocated to increase deposits to the Ukrainian defense industry, taking into account the positive experience of the “Danish model”.
Danish funding for several years will also support current efforts to encourage allies to contribute through this model.
The Danish Model showed that Ukraine has the potential for the production and supply of equipment for the Ukrainian struggle for freedom. Denmark has to continue to invest in it, and I hope that other countries will imitate our example even more, “Polesen said.
Prehistory:

- Recently, Denmark Coalition, which also includes Denmark, has allocated 20 million euros from the Joint Fund in order to buy a tactical level for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
