Danish soldiers will be sent to study in Ukraine

Denmark’s armed forces plan to send their military to training in Ukraine to take the experience of the Armed Forces, in particular in counteracting drones, gained over three years of war.

Details: Bosen reported that Denmark is preparing to send several groups of his servicemen to Ukraine who will represent different army regiments. These teams will be naked and will not aim to participate, but training and exchange of experience.

The commander of the Denmark Land Forces, who personally observed the training of the reconnaissance regiment using the latest percussion drones, said he did not recall such dynamics of changes over the four decades of his service. In particular, we are talking about the rapid introduction of drones, similar to those that are massively used on the front in Ukraine.

Intensive renewal of approaches to combat was made possible by two recent trips to Ukraine. After these visits in the Armed Forces of Denmark, the adaptation of new weapons and tactics began.

According to Bosen to speed up these changes, the army’s leadership plans to send more military to Ukrainian training centers. The exact number of training courses has not yet been determined, but it is already known that they will last from one to two weeks.

According to the commander, both instructors and ordinary soldiers will take part in the programs. Starting can take place this summer.

“Yes, I was there (in Ukraine – ed.) Several times. But these soldiers do not go there to take an active part in the war. They go there to gain some experience, and this is at the invitation of my colleague, commander of the Ukrainian army,” says Bosen.

At the same time, the Russian embassy in Copenhagen is outraged that the armed forces of Denmark plan to send soldiers to a training fee in Ukraine.

“The sending of Danish servicemen to Ukraine, including for the study of combat experience, draws Denmark more deeply and deeper into the conflict in Ukraine and provokes its further uncontrolled escalation,” – said in a written comment on Vladimir Barbin’s ambassador for TV 2.

Bosen stressed that the Danish military will be stationed at a safe distance from the front line – probably near one of the training centers in the western region of Ukraine.

“They should be trained far from the front line, for example, in Lviv in Western Ukraine.

• At the end of March, there was information that Denmark will provide 130 million euros for their companies, which are ready to invest in the Ukrainian defense and industrial complex.
