Automation has turned off the block at Rivne NPP – Gerus

On April 29, at 20:05, after the automation, the atomic unit # 3 of the Rivne NPP with a capacity of 1000 MW was switched off from the network.

What was before: Exnaradep and Member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia Sergey Leshchenko reported that Acting Energy Minister Olga Buslavts initiates a stop of three NPP blocks, with a capacity of 3000 MW and a decrease in production on 5 more blocks.

According to him, after such initiatives, Buslavts have almost lost the chance of being approved in parliament. Gerus is also opposed to such a large -scale stop.
