Details: At the beginning of this year, the Russian strategic missile forces had at their disposal:
- 34 ICBMs of the RS-20 “Voevoda” type (deployment started back in 1988),
- 60 ICBMs of the RS-12M “Topol-M” type (deployment started in 1997),
- 18 ICBM RS-12M1 “Topol-M” (deployment started in 2006),
- 180 ICBM RS-24 “Yars” in the mine version (deployment started in 2010),
- 24 such missiles in a mobile version (since 2014),
- about 8 Avangard missiles.
The number of intercontinental ballistic missiles “Sarmat” is unknown.
If we talk about the naval component, then Russia has 192 ballistic missiles for placement on 12 nuclear submarine cruisers.
Of them, 112 units are RSM-56 (or R-30) “Bulava”, the deployment of which started in 2012, and 80 units are RSM-54 “Syneva”, deployed since 2007, the publication writes.
The Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that Ukraine became the first country in the world against which an intercontinental ballistic missile was used.

Prehistory:
- On the morning of November 21, Russian occupiers attacked Dnipro – damaged an industrial enterprise, a rehabilitation center, residential buildings and garages; 2 people were injured as a result of the impact.
