According to the GUR, “Nagayko directly participated in the full-scale war against Ukraine. Moreover, he is involved in Iskander ballistic missile strikes on civilian and military targets in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.”

“In particular, Nagayka’s unit committed a war crime in the village of Groza, Kupyan district – on October 5, 2023, it launched a rocket attack on a cafe during a wake. At that time, 59 Ukrainian civilians died, among them an eight-year-old boy,” the HUR emphasized.

The HUR says that “as a result of the explosion that occurred in his military unit, Nagaiko received multiple shrapnel injuries, in particular, to the brain, as a result of which he underwent skull trepanation. The condition of the 29-year-old officer is critical, and in the Russian missile brigade there is an opinion that he has almost no chance of survival.”

The GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reminded that “every war crime against the Ukrainian people will not go unpunished.”
