According to the spokesman, Scholz is planning another conversation with the Ukrainian president after the talks with Putin.
“The day before, the Federal Chancellor had a phone conversation with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, and will do so after negotiations with the President of Russia,” Gebeshreit said.
He also said that Scholz during the conversation with the Russian ruler condemned a Russian war of aggression against Ukraine and insisted that Putin should be ready to negotiate and withdraw his troops.
We will remind, on Wednesday, Sholtz and Zelenskyi spokein particular, about German assistance in anti-aircraft defense.
During the conversation, the German chancellor confirmed that the sixth planned IRIS-T air defense system will be delivered to Ukraine by the end of this year.
