Details: According to the investigation, on May 8, 2025, a conflict arose between the suspect and two neighbors in the village of Sofiyivska Borschagivka of the Buchan district, which resulted in shots from firearms and killed a man and a woman.

At the request of the prosecutor, he was elected a pre -trial detention measure without determining the amount of collateral.

That preceded:

• On May 8, at 15:22, eyewitnesses were reported to the police in the village of Sofiyivska Borschagivka. The leadership of the Main Directorate of Police of the Kyiv Region, the Territorial Unit, the Investigative Group, the Criminalists of the Police and Doctors came to the place.
• Police found that a month ago a serviceman sold a man to a man for $ 1,000 (according to the UP, it was a machine gun – ed.). However, on May 8, there was a payment conflict between them: the military demanded that the buyer pay him a certain amount. As a result, a man from a purchased weapon shot a military and his mother -in -law, who was home. After that, the attacker went to his own home and closed inside.
• The police specialists surrounded the house and detained the man within an hour. He was a 63-year-old local resident.
