Details: According to sociological studies conducted in March 2025, Ukrainians are much more pessimistic to evaluate the possible consequences of Donald Trump’s presidency for Ukraine.

If in December 2024, 31% of respondents believed that Ukraine may face or completely unfair peace, then on February 14 – March 4, this figure increased to 58%. In the second half of March (March 12-22), it decreased to 55%, but most Ukrainians still adhere to critical estimates.

In particular, 22% of respondents believe that peace will be completely unfair, and another 32% suggest that it will be unfair, although with some requirements of Ukraine.
18% of Ukrainians expect more or fully peace, among them 3% hope for a fully just peace, and 15% believe that it will be rather fair, but with some concessions to Russia.
Another 21% of respondents suggest that peace will be partially fair, partly not.
The overall attitude of Ukrainians to Trump as a US President has also changed.

KIIS conducted two studies: February 14 – March 4 and March 12-22. The survey was conducted by telephone interviews among adults living in the territories controlled by the Government of Ukraine. During the previous one, 2 029 respondents (2.4%statistical error) were examined and 1 326 respondents (2.5%statistical error) were examined.
