Zelenskyi: Ukraine can simultaneously hold a referendum on the peace agreement and elections

During a conversation with journalists on Tuesday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Ukraine will present a twenty-point peace agreement for ratification by the parliament or hold an all-Ukrainian referendum, and may also decide to hold elections in the country at the same time as the referendum.

Details: Zelensky also said that, in addition, the security guarantees will only come into force if the agreement is fully ratified or approved by a referendum.

Also, Zelensky clarified that a referendum on a full agreement that would seal the end of the war can be held in Ukraine, but for it to be held, a minimum of 60 days and a full ceasefire for that period are required.
