“Today is a new step in our state application “Army+”: transfers are now possible for soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine. Now – at the first stage – transfers within the National Guard are open for soldiers of the National Guard, but there is a task to add the possibility of transfers between units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard,” Zelenskyi said.
According to him, units of border guards will be added to “Army+” in the near future.
On November 12, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution on the introduction of a transfer mechanism between military units at the initiative of servicemen. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the mechanism was developed in cooperation between civil society, the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and transfers will work through the “Army+” application.
The difficulty of voluntary transfers in the army has been repeatedly reported. In July, a petition was registered on the website of the President’s Office regarding the regulation of the practically impossible procedure for the transfer of servicemen between units of the Defense Forces. However, the appeal did not receive the necessary support for consideration.
