President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, during his stay in Zaporizhzhia region, stated that he defined the tasks of the military and promised to give more resources to the Defense Forces in this direction.

Zelensky’s direct speech: “Today all day in the Zaporizhzhia region. I was in our combat brigades: the 65th separate mechanized unit, which is part of the 17th corps that protects our state in the Orichiv direction, I was also with the soldiers of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. This is defense in the Stepnohirsk areas.”

Details: The President reported that he discussed with the commanders the needs for strengthening the positions of the defenders and how to give more forces to this important direction.

Zelenskyi also thanked Kamianskyi’s direction for full information about the difficulties that exist right here in Zaporizhzhia region, and especially in the districts of Gulyaipol, and promised to hold a Stavka on Friday regarding this particular region, and specifically regarding the defense of Zaporizhzhia and all the issues raised.

“Today, we talked in detail with the head of the administration, Ivan Fedorov, about the situation in the city, in the region, about the support that Zaporizhzhia needs now – both people and businesses. And protection from blows, above all protection in the region from Russian assaults. I have already defined the tasks of the military, and we will give more resources in this direction,” the president said.
