Andrii Tupikov became the new head of the counterintelligence department of the Security Service of Ukraine. The relevant decree was signed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on December 31. 
Andriy Tupikov is a major of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
On August 13, 2015, he was awarded the Order of Danylo Halytskyi for his personal courage and heroism, shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath during hostilities and during the performance of official duties.
