Details: Zelensky recalled that on Tuesday he listened to the report of the Ukrainian negotiating team – Rustem Umyerov and Andrii Hnatov after their return from the United States.

“They reported on the working drafts of the agreements that already exist, on the clauses of the agreements that we managed to make stronger. We continue to be in constant contact with America, we expect further work,” the president said.
According to him, Ukraine feels that “America wants to reach a final agreement, and from our side – full cooperation.”
“Ukraine has never been and will never be an obstacle to peace. We are working actively and doing everything to ensure that the documents are in place and that the documents are realistic. The main thing is that Russia does not disrupt this diplomacy and is 100 percent serious about ending the war,” Zelenskyi said.
He called for further pressure on Russia to stop its aggression against Ukraine: “the world has all the tools to make the pressure work, so that there is peace.”
On December 21, Umerov stated that the meetings with American and European partners during the last three days in Florida were productive and constructive.
US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff also stated that the negotiations between representatives of the US, Europe and Ukraine were productive.
As “Europeyska Pravda” reported, US Vice President J.D. Vance said that progress was made at the peace talks regarding Ukraine, but there is no confidence in reaching a peaceful settlement.
On December 23, Zelensky listened to a detailed report by the Secretary of the National Security Council Rustem Umyerov and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov on the results of the meetings with the American team.
