Zelensky: The only option for a ceasefire is the signing of a framework agreement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said on Thursday that the only option for a ceasefire in the Russian-Ukrainian war is to sign a framework agreement.

Direct speech: “The United States of America, after repeated negotiations with the Russian side, believes that a complete ceasefire can only come when the framework agreement is signed.

In my opinion, it is no secret that the Russians will not go to sisfire if there is no agreement. Our position has not changed – we believe that sysfire is necessary. But we receive exactly this information: the only option for sysfire is to sign a framework agreement.”
