According to the President, he explained when and how certain parts of the territory of Ukraine were occupied, including part of the East and Crimea in 2014.

Zelensky did not directly respond to the US position whether they would insist on the exchange of territories and whether the Ukrainian side has a formula that defines the “acceptability” of recognition of certain occupied territories by Russia.

“We will leave the issues of territories between me and Putin,” the President said without delving into detail.
