Details: Commenting on the statements of the Russian side about the alleged existence of the “Anchorage formula” regarding the status of the Donbas territories, the president emphasized that he has no “official information” about what was agreed upon in Anchorage.

“In the end, everyone will find out, it’s a matter of time. But we (already) have signals that they discussed key issues there,” he explained, referring primarily to the issue of territories.
According to Zelenskyi, those negotiations ultimately harmed Ukraine and still prevent Kyiv from defending its position.
Zelensky’s direct speech: “I believe that the complex issues that we are discussing today are very complex precisely because they have been discussed in some form before (between the leaders of Russia and the US – EP). If they had only one meeting, then it is not difficult to understand that during the meeting in Alaska they certainly talked about Donbas, and also about what to do with the temporarily occupied territories, and, I think, about frozen Russian assets.”
Prehistory:
- Before that, the Kremlin disclosed the details of Putin’s recent meeting with Trump’s envoys.
- At the same time, Moscow has repeatedly stated that the Russian Federation will not support the US “peace plan” in case of significant changes compared to the agreements in Anchorage, which have not been made public and have not been denied so far. However, the existence of these agreements is currently only claimed by the Russian side.
