The second priority, Zelenskyi noted, in coordination with the military, should be a significantly strengthened technological component to stop the advance of the Russian invaders on the battlefield, as well as resolved problematic issues of securing the front.
“In particular, an audit of funding for the defense sector will take place promptly. Mykhailo will present ways to close the deficits,” the president emphasized.
Decisions are also being prepared to increase the financial support of soldiers of the Armed Forces on the front line.
“We are working separately with the supply of drones – the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine should introduce a basic level of provision of combat brigades with drones, the purchase of specialized drones for defeating the enemy at a greater depth of the front,” the president explained.
Zelenskyi called the third priority system solutions to the problems that have accumulated with the TCC, which will be proposed by the Ministry of Defense.
“Decisions have already been made that ensure a fairer distribution of personnel between combat brigades. But much larger changes in the mobilization process are needed, which will guarantee more opportunities both for the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine and for economic processes in our state,” Zelenskyy wrote.
Also, in the near future, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine will present the new team of the ministry.
