One of the clauses states that Russia will enshrine a policy of non-aggression towards Europe and Ukraine in all necessary laws and all necessary ratification documents. The seventh point of the plan states that Ukraine will become a member of the EU at a specific time, and also that Ukraine will receive short-term privileged access to the European market. The project provides that the Russian Federation will withdraw its troops from the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions for the entry into force of this agreement. In recent weeks, the US has again been trying to reach a peace agreement between Moscow and Kyiv. After the last round of negotiations in Miami, Zelenskyy said that drafts of several documents have been prepared – in particular, on security guarantees for Ukraine, on reconstruction and on the basic framework for ending this war.
Russian representatives also met with the American team in Miami. The Kremlin said that these talks should not be seen as a breakthrough.
