Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has identified the main subjects for the upcoming trilateral negotiations involving Russia and the United States, emphasizing the importance of a leaders’ meeting. He stated that this meeting is anticipated to take place next week, potentially in Switzerland or Turkey.
During an online briefing, Zelensky reiterated that a primary focus of the discussions will be on continuing exchanges, as well as arranging the leaders’ summit. He expressed that without the involvement of top leaders, achieving results on territorial issues would be challenging.
Previously, Zelensky had mentioned that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had expressed readiness to host the next round of talks in this trilateral format. This comes after the postponement of the negotiations, which Zelensky announced on March 9.
