President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had telephone conversations with Presidents of Poland, the Czech Republic, Kot-Djivar, Chancellor of Germany, Croatia, Sweden, Slovenia, Ireland and Luxembourg Prime Ministers, the President’s office reported on February 21.

According to the press service, during the conversation, Zelensky thanked them for their support and informed about his contacts with partners.

The President expressed gratitude to Croatian Prime Minister Andrey Plenkovich for a decision on a new package of military assistance.

The main topic of conversation with the Czech President Peter Pavel is the development of strong, reasoned positions. The leaders also discussed the continuation of the Czech initiative to supply artillery shells.

During a conversation with Polish President Andrzej Duda, the head of the Ukrainian state spoke about the development of dialogue with the American team and “stressed that the United States should stand with Ukraine, because strong and reliable peace can only be achieved in unity.”

Zelensky thanked Sweden Prime Minister Ulf Cristorson for his military assistance. One of the main topics of the conversation is to develop a joint vision of security guarantees.

The President discussed bilateral relations with Slovenia Prime Minister Robert. It was a common vision of the end of war and security guarantees.

German President and Chancellor Olaf Scholz discussed a common position on the ways of completing the war and reliable security guarantees. Leaders discussed steps to achieve a fair peace and the role of Europe at the negotiating table.

Zelensky discussed with the President of Kot-Djivar Alasan Drama Uatar, the development of bilateral relations between states, including increasing turnover, and a just end of the war.

The President of Ukraine exchanged views with Luxembourg Prime Minister Luke Frieden about joint action for the end of the war. The Head of State thanked Luxembourg for his willingness to continue military, financial and humanitarian aid, as well as for his voice for accelerating Ukraine’s accession to the EU.

Zelensky negotiations are against the background of tension between Trump and Zelensky, who have exchanged harsh criticism in recent days. Trump called Zelensky a “dictator” and suggested that he began a war with Russia-comments that caused anxiety in Ukraine and Europe and caused a negative reaction from some high-ranking US republican legislators.

The most acute Trump’s criticism to Zelensky was heard after Zelensky accused Trump of living “misinformation space”, which comes from the Russian Federation, and that the United States helps Russia “escape from many years of isolation”, conducting negotiations on high Levels in Riyadh on February 18 and moving to normalize relationships.

On February 21, US President Donald Trump again criticized Zelensky, saying that he had no cards left for negotiations. The US President also said that Zelensky should participate in meetings during the negotiations. Meanwhile, he is satisfied with the results of conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
