Zelensky appointed an ambassador to Turkey liberated from captivity of the Crimean Tatar

President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed the deputy head of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelyalov Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey. Details: “To appoint Jelyalov Nariman Anverovich with an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Ukraine to the Turkish Republic,” – reads in the decree.

Nariman Dzhelyalov is the deputy chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people, released from Russian captivity at the end of June 2024.
