What preceded: President Volodymyr Zelenskyi spoke about the meeting with Vasyl Malyuk, where the candidates for his successor as head of the Security Service of Ukraine were discussed.
The head of state noted that Malyuk will continue to deal with Ukrainian asymmetric operations against the occupier and the Russian state in the SBU.
Separately, Zelenskyi met with Yevhenii Khmara. With him, the president discussed the possibilities of systemic development of the Security Service of Ukraine and special operations being prepared.
For reference: Khmara is an experienced special agent who served in the SBU Special Operations Center “A” since 2011. In 2023, he was appointed the head of “Alfa”.
The major general was awarded the Order of Danylo Halytskyi, and for personal courage and heroism, shown in the fight against crime, the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree.
