After a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced rotations in the diplomatic corps.

According to him, the minister will present candidates in the near future.

“Taking into account the need for consistently effective work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the candidacy of the new First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs will also be chosen. I am waiting for proposals for a solution,” he wrote in a telegram.

Zelensky said that he discussed with Sybiga the results of diplomatic work in 2025 and the main tasks for this year. According to him, the main thing is that “every agreement in the interests of Ukraine, every agreement, every partnership works one hundred percent.”

Also, earlier today, Zelenskyi met with the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, with whom he agreed to “determine the directions of further cooperation.” The president did not give details about the interaction in question.

Kuleba later reported on a “lengthy and important conversation about Ukraine” with Zelensky, noting that he was “glad to see the president focused on unity, change and victory in the war.” He did not inform about any possible agreements.

As of today, after the appointment of Serhii Kyslytsa as the first deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the post of deputy minister is vacant.
