He said that on December 30, the teams of the USA and Ukraine communicated.
The President also discussed further steps and emphasis in the negotiations with the Secretary of the National Security Council Umerov.

- French President Emmanuel Macron previously said that at the beginning of January, a meeting of the countries of the “coalition of the determined” will be held in Paris, where they plan to finalize the specific contributions of each state to the system of security guarantees for Ukraine.
- Meanwhile, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed the opinion that peace in Ukraine is already on the horizon and can be achieved within weeks.
- He also said that as part of security guarantees for Ukraine, the USA agreed to send its troops to the Russian-Ukrainian border or the line of contact after reaching a peace agreement.
