“I hope that in January there will be decisions on all six documents that I mentioned earlier, we will continue to work in this direction. They know what they need to do next,” the Ukrainian president added.
After that, Trump noted that “these working groups will also later work with Russia, because there is no point in working with Russia.”
To the question of how long it will take to finalize problematic issues, Trump answered: “Perhaps several weeks. And if this issue drags on too long, nothing will come of it. Therefore, I hope that in a few weeks we will already know what our situation is. It can also go badly – it is possible that some point will not be agreed upon, and because of it, everything will fall apart.”
Earlier, both presidents said that the negotiations will continue.
“We agreed that the teams will meet in the coming weeks, and President Trump agreed to receive us in January, probably in Washington,” Zelensky said, in particular.
