Details: During a telephone conversation, Erdogan noted that Turkey supports the continuation of negotiations between delegations of Ukraine and Russia, which began in Istanbul.

They spoke separately about the participation of Turkey in the Ukrainian Summit-Southeastern Europe.
The Turkish President also supported negotiations at the level of Ukraine and the Russian Federation after meeting the next Monday, which will “promote a peace process and which should be done without unnecessary delay.”
Russia stated that she wants new talks with Ukraine in Istanbul on Monday, June 2, where he will show a “Memorandum” with proposals for a truce and end of the war.
At the same time, Kiev noted that in order to achieve the results at the meeting, they need to get acquainted with the Russian “Memorandum” in advance.
