President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that this week he would discuss with his partners the issue of closing the deficit in financing the production of drones. Zelensky wrote this in a telegram on July 28, commenting on another massive Russian blow to Ukraine.

“The units of our unmanned systems, army aviation and air forces, anti -aircraft forces, anti -aircraft, air defense units, mobile fire groups were actively working tonight. In total, in the account of the defenders of the sky, only one hundred Russian shock drones in the night of the sky. Good results in the unmanned defense against Shahaneda – dozens of knocking on Russian drones. There are also several rockets knocked down overnight. Unfortunately, not all of them were hit, ”Zelensky said.

“But we are constantly strengthening the Ukrainian air shield, and it is very important to maintain a full understanding of partners what they can help. Step by step we close the funding for the production of drones, and this week there will be new conversations with my partners about this problem. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the NSDC Secretary are performing appropriate orders at their level, ”he added.

Earlier today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian military on the night of July 28 attacked Ukraine 324 drones, as well as four winged X-101 rockets and three aerobalist missiles X-47 m2 “dagger”.

The main focus was Starokostiantyniv in Khmelnytskyi, the military says. A military airfield is located near this city.

The air forces clarified that there were a hit of two rockets of different types and 15 shock UAVs in three locations, as well as a fall in fragments in several locations. The aerobalist missiles X-47 m2 did not reach the goals, the military said.

The Khmelnytskyi authorities reported that there were no data on the impact. Meanwhile, the Kiev authorities reported eight victims.
